She was a full time faculty member and Assistant Professor at Boise State University and an Adjunct professor at University of Texas at Arlington for about 10 years. She has written extensively in peer reviewed journals and has authored several book chapters. She continues to write as a method of furthering the knowledge base of helping professions.
