What I Offer
Gender-Affirming Letters for HRT and Surgery I provide assessment and documentation for individuals seeking gender-affirming hormone therapy (HRT) and surgeries. These letters are often required by healthcare providers or insurance companies to ensure access to the care you deserve.

How It Works

Initial Consultation & Gathering Documentation: We’ll schedule a meeting to discuss your needs, history, and goals. This can be conducted in person or via telehealth (depending on location).

Review of Records: We will request medical and psychological records to inform our evaluation and recommendations.

Evaluation: During our conversation, we’ll cover topics required for the letter, such as:

Gender identity and history

Medical and mental health history

Assessing informed consent and judgement

Knowledge of requested interventions and side effects

Goals and expectations for HRT or surgery

Letter Completion: After our session, if clinically appropriate, I’ll draft your letter, ensuring it meets WPATH standards and includes all necessary details.

Delivery: Your letter will be sent to you and/or your healthcare provider, depending on your preference.

About Dr. Wall
Dr. Wall exceeds the recommended minimum credentials necessary for a mental health professional diagnosing and treating gender dysphoria as established in the most recently updated WPATH Standards of Care 8. Specifically, she holds doctorate, masters, and bachelor’s degrees in Social Work. She has an Idaho clinical license (LCSW-29282) in Clinical Social Work which certifies expertise in the DSM 5, diagnosis, and treatment of all mental disorders, including co-occurring disorders. Dr. Wall can recognize and distinguish other disorders from gender dysphoria. For approximately 27 years, she have researched, published, and practiced extensively in the area of gender diversity. She is knowledgeable about gender diverse identities and expressions, assessment, and treatments. She provides, and participates in, ongoing clinical education regarding gender nonconformity and gender dysphoria.
